The Maricopa Community Colleges 2012 Artists of Promise Gala Performance and Art Exhibition, celebrating the talent of the Chancellor Award recipients including several students from Paradise Valley Community College, is Wednesday, April 11, at the Herberger Theater in downtown Phoenix.
This event honors all student winners of the Maricopa Community Colleges Fine Arts Competitions in visual arts, music composition, dance performance, choreography and theater. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the art exhibit and 7 p.m. for music, theater and dance performances. This event is free and open to the public.
PVCC Art Faculty David Bradley served as a coordinator of the Maricopa Community Colleges’ Fine Arts Competition. PVCC students who will receive the 2012 Artists of Promise Chancellor Award are:
