Li Kang
PVCC welcomes new faculty librarian Li (Lili) Kang, who has worked as a professional librarian for 19 years including 10 years in higher education. She will takes on the position of Library Instruction coordinator working with Kande Mickelsen.
For the past six years, Kang served as a residential faculty librarian at GateWay Community College. She previously worked as an ESL instructor in Shanxi Teachers’ University in China and adjunct English faculty at Phoenix College. Kang has presented at conferences for Maricopa Teaching and Learning with Technology, Arizona Library Association and SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning).
Kang has her Master of Library and Information Science and a Master of English from the University of South Florida.
