We are excited to announce that Phase I of the Kranitz Student Center remodel project is nearing completion. Many new permanent offices are now occupied, the roundabout and breezeway have been demolished and the Student Union area is once again a major center of activity.
As Phase II of the project begins, a number of significant changes will occur. This week Financial Aid, Admissions & Records, and Fiscal/Cashier’s offices move to the second floor. The offices will remain open during the moves and student services will be available without interruption. Attached is a diagram of second floor office locations.
Following those moves, extension of the construction zone will require closure of the KSC north entrance. The building will then be accessible from the south entrances only. A new walkway from the north parking lot along the east wall of A building will be opened, improving accessibility to the south entrances.
Directional signage will be posted and a revised campus map will be distributed soon.
Be sure to take a self-guided KSC tour to familiarize yourself with the new office and service locations and see the renovation progress. You may run into our new onsite project manager, Daniel Dunn, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We will continue to keep you in the know as PVCC is on the move.
