Paradise Valley Community College’s Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning programs recently were featured in an Arizona Republic article about Baby Boomers finding new purpose by taking college classes.
Counseling faculty Donna Mosher, coordinator of the Adult Re-entry Program at PVCC, says Boomers are coming to PVCC seeking new challenge or training for a new career. She said the college’s Lifelong Learning seminars help answer many of their questions about returning to college after a long absence from academia, and for-credit counseling and personal-development classes help them make decisions about their personal, career and academic goals.
