Public invited to submit entries on Nov. 30 for PVCC Juried Photography Show

Paradise Valley Community College is accepting entries on Friday, Nov. 30, for its Fall 2012 Juried Photography Show.

This photography competition is open to community members of all ages. Peter Ensenberger, former director of photography for Arizona Highways magazine, is the juror for the show.

Selected works will be exhibited in the Center for the Performing Arts Lobby Gallery Dec. 5, 2012 through Jan. 18, 2013. Prizes will be awarded during a reception and awards ceremony 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in the Lobby Gallery.

The entry fee is $5 per image, with a limit of three images. A division of entry fee monies determines monetary awards. First place receives 60 percent; second place 30 percent; third place 10 percent.

The photo contest entry form can be downloaded at www.paradisevalley.edu/cpa/cpa-art-gallery. Entries must be matted or mounted (no frames) and delivered in person on Friday, Nov. 30, from 1-5pm in the CPA Building. Unselected work may be picked up noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Employees of the Maricopa County Community College District and/or family members are not eligible to participate.
